30 minute approx. appointment in which the Practitioners will do a extensive and comprehensive assessment with specialised equipment.

15-minute appointment, to assess a lesion.

The use of topical anti-cancer creams. These can treat sun damaged skin and early superficial skin cancers.

We also offer Cryotherapy which is a preventative method to combat superficial skin lesions

We are happy to discuss any concerns you may have about your procedure. From giving you an estimate on fees to discussing scar management and any alternative treatments and referrals to other specialists.

Checking for skin cancer
The sooner skin cancer is found, the easier it is to treat.
The best way to ensure skin cancer is found early is to get to know your skin and what’s normal for you. Any changes including new spots, or changes in shape, colour or size of an existing spot should be checked.
Most skin cancers are found by people checking their own skin or are noticed by a loved one.
Get to know your skin and, if you notice anything unusual, visit your doctor as soon as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Parking: Parking is available directly in front of the clinic, which is marked as SSCC patients only. Alternatively, street parking is also available along Urch Street just outside the premises. Avoid parking on the gravel near the Cardiologist as it is a no STANDING ZONE. The Rangers give out a $150 fine for parking there.
Arrival Time: We ask that if you are visiting us for the first time or need to update details with us, that you arrive 15min early to allow us to obtain your details and add them to our confidential computer system.
Please be aware that on surgical days, unforeseen events sometimes occur which can cause a delay. We ask for your patience in this matter, and where possible rescheduling may occur.
Attire: We ask that you wear comfortable and appropriate attire, as during Skin Cancer checks, we do request the removal of articles of clothing. We do have privacy screens in each of the Mole Scanning rooms to maintain privacy. We also request that make-up be removed before your appointment so that we may assess your skin clearly.
For surgical procedures, we ask that you wear comfortable attire, as we may ask you to remove an article of clothing. We have privacy drapes for patients in our closed-door surgical suites.
